Firearm Forum Question: K98 Mauser Cleaning and Disassembly

Ask A Firearms Question:
I know a lot of people are into these assault rifles, but I have recently purchased an old K98 German Mauser Rifle with Nazi stamps. I know these are quite common. Can you please provide a detailed video that shows how to disassemble and clean this firearm?
Thank you Wild Rider.

Answer:
Blog Administrator -
I own one of these old K98 German Mauser Rifles. They are fun to shoot. I suggest a thorough cleaning before first time use.
As requested see the YouTube Video below.
Hope this is helpful.
Good luck.

  1. Had one many years ago along with the M1 Garand 30-06 Rifle, sorry I sold them both. Great hunting rifles.
