Firearm Forum Question: Lever Action Rifles

Ask A Firearms Question:
I would like to open a discussion on Lever Action Rifles. I personally prefer a Lever Action Rifle for hunting over the typical Bolt Action style rifle. What do others think, use, and prefer?
Thank you Moon Doggie.

  3. I own a Marlin 45-70, great hunting rifle but too damn expensive to shoot, and ammunition is very difficult to find. Speaking of ammo, I heard on the radio today the Post Office has bids out to purchase One Billion (That's with a 'B') rounds of ammo.

  12. I have the Henry Mare's Leg with the Henry Mare's Leg Holster in 45 Long Colt. I have never fired it. I also have a leather scabbard for the gun that can be used on a Horse, ATV, or Motorcycle. It's for sale.

  13. i own the Mossberg 464 ZMB (Zombie Killer) 30-30 Lever Action Rifle , shown above if i had it to do over i would not buy it , i like the rifle but it's the 30-30 that is not adequate , not enough fire power for my taste .

  18. IMPORTANT: Be advised on Firearms and Ammo ReCalls - There is NO expiration date on recalls for various reasons.
If you own or purchased a Firearm or Ammo always check to see if there is a recall on that model or Lot Number.
