Firearm Forum Question: What Does it Mean When a Firearm Discharges Out-of-Battery

Ask A Firearms Question:
What Does it Mean When a Gun Discharges Out of Battery?
Thank you The Patriot Train.

Answer :
Blog Administrator -
This is when a Firearm discharges (fires) when the slide or bolt is not fully closed. This can result in the firearm exploding sending shrapnel flying everywhere injuring or killing the user (shooter), and any bystanders to close.

  3. Cannot believe all these Firearm and Ammunition Manufacturers shown on your Firearms Forum are so negligent in their issuing of products that can either permanent injury or kill someone including someone just standing in the zone of death.
    I am 73 years old.
In my day all this useless shit would be referred to as Saturday Specials or Basement Makers (people who made their own gun, usually called a Zip Gun).
