Firearm Forum Question: Disassembly, Cleaning, Reassembly and Test Firing of the Kel-Tec Sub 2000

Ask A Firearms Question:
Can you do a Topic Post on the Kel Tec Sub-2000 Semi Auto Assault Rifle ?
Thank you Donald Zades.

Kel Tec Sub 2000, photo from Kel Tec's Website:
Comes in both 9mm and 40 Caliber S&W ....

Answer:
Blog Administrator -
The Kel Tec Sub 2000 is essentially an answer and competitor of the Hi-Point.
The advantages to this firearm is it will accept Glock 9mm and 40 Caliber Magazines. It will accept some S&W, Beretta, and Sig Magazines in 9mm and 40 Cal. The Kel Tec also has a folding stock for easy carry.
The clear disadvantage it is not offered in the 45 ACP.
I have never owned the Kel Tec but have shot one. I did at one time own the Hi-Pont 9mm fully outfitted. In my opinion the Hi-Point 9mm is a better choice. If I were to purchase one again it would be the Hi-Pont in 45acp.

    1. I left my comment in the write-up above but here it is again, I think the Hi-Point in 45 ACP is a better choice.

    2. Don't own either one, but after reading the write-ups on the topics at this firearms forum, if I were to purchase a carbine style rifle, I would choose the Hi Point 45 ACP.

    3. It appears so, but I would still want to shoot both before firming a solid opinion.
