Ask A Firearms Question:
Can you provide a video on how to Disassemble, Reassemble, and Clean a Glock 17?
Thank you Hitman at Large

Glock Model 30, 45 ACP

Blog Administrator -
The Glock is a unique handgun in several ways: 1) It's the only major handgun manufacturer that does not make a 22 caliber; 2) All Glock models regardless of the caliber or model disassemble and reassemble exactly the same; 3) There are plenty of 3rd party manufacturers that supply after market parts and options for most of the Glock models.
I have included two Youtube videos, one shows the proper method of Disassembly and Reassembly of a Glock Handgun; the second video shows how to Clean a Glock Handgun using the latest methodology.

The Disassemble and Reassemble of a Glock Model 17 Handgun.

Remember, this method works on ALL Glock models.

Latest method of cleaning a Glock Handgun:
It should be noted, in my opinion, that using a composite cleaning and lubricant is still quite okay.
Note: I own a Glock Model 30, 45 ACP, and have not personally tried this method yet but I plan too.
